朝からあいにくの雨でしたが、新しい1年生を迎える会を行いました。
時間になると縦割り班ごとに上級生が1年生を教室まで迎えに行きました。
班ごとに各教室や図工室、音楽室で集まって、自己紹介や今月実施予定の千葉市動物公園の遠足の準備、フルーツバスケットなどのゲームをしながら楽しい時間を過ごしていました。
緊張気味だった1年生も、だんだん上級生と打ち解けてきて、笑顔がこぼれていました。
その後、1年生をかこみながら昼食をみんなで食べてました。
Given the bad weather the grade one orienteering exercise was held in classrooms throughout the school. As the students gathered in their assigned classrooms there was a jovial atmosphere. The first graders, apprehensive to begin with, soon warmed up as the group leaders discussed the plans for our school trip on Friday. After an informative and fun decision making process, it was time for lunch! Smiles and sandwiches were served and the real bonding process inevitably took over. Despite incessant precipitation, the day was a marvelous success and we all are looking forward to a zoological extravaganza this Friday.
