The school camp was a great success. After unpacking our bags and settling in at the camp, we saw a full schedule in front of us. Crafts, nature hikes, orienteering, fishing, cooking and buffets kept us all busy until the end of play each day. It was a wonderful opportunity for the teachers and the students to interact and learn from each other outside the school environment. With their friends in the log cabins— and with their groups performing various activities— they learned that responsibility, teamwork and friendship are essential towards completing any challenge set before them. It was with both excitement and sadness that we left the camp. We will miss the experience but I’m sure we all agree, it is wonderful to see our families and friends again!
