２０１３年７月２１日（日）、中高食堂で１１：３０から小学校創立２０周年を記念して同窓会を行い、同時に田川校長先生の米寿祝賀会も行いました。今回は１期生～１３期生の卒業生１００名以上、元教員の前田先生と長谷川先生、現教員、それぞれ合わせて約１２０名が集まりました。
１時間半にわたり行われた同窓会・祝賀会は、田川先生のご挨拶からはじまり、お食事、ご歓談、卒業生代表のご挨拶、スライドショーと盛りだくさんでした。現在、社会人の１期生から中学生の１３期生まで、年齢に関係なく皆さんで仲良く楽しむことができました。
中高マリア像で参加者全員による記念撮影のあと、小学校に移動して、懐かしい校舎の見学、ドッヂボール、キックベースの交流会が行われました。皆さんは交流会を通じて、更に絆を深めることができたようです。
この日は、全員で楽しい一日を過ごすことができました。そして、この日は忘れることのできない素晴らしい思い出になりました。
Last July 21, 2013 – Sunday, our school celebrated the first reunion and was attended by the 1st class until the 13th class of graduates to renew friendship and to socialize. It was held in the school cafeteria with a lunch buffet that started from 11:30 am with a program attended by more than 100 alumni, guests, and also present were two former teachers Mr. Maeda and Mr. Hasegawa. Current teachers and staff, our school Director/Principal Fr. Tagawa who is also celebrating his 88th birthday this year and commemoration of the 20th year anniversary of the primary school department. The first part lasted for an hour and a half with slide show of photos, and enjoyment of the opportunity to visit with old classmates from 20 years ago and catch up on what they have been doing, their careers, their families, their present studies, and the activities they are currently involved in. It was followed by a photo session in front of the Mother Mary statue, then followed by a tour of the primary school building and ball games (kick base and dodge ball). Students decided which game to play based on their favorite activity when they were attending primary school. It was very nice day where everyone had a great time being together, adding new memorable part spent in their alma mater.
