今日は、2学期の始業式がありました。子どもたちは、夏休みを経て、大きく成長し、久しぶりの学校生活に、目を輝かせながら、始業式に臨んでいました。始業式では、校長先生が、夏休みで経験したことを生かして2学期、どのようにそれらを発揮していけば良いのかというお話や小さな花の精「テレジア」のお話をされていました。
また、第62回書席大会の「書星会賞」と「特選賞」の入賞者の発表を行なったり、英検にて、普段、インターナショナルコースのB組で学んでいる、小３児童の中川水星さんが準１級を取得しましたので、その表彰を行ないました。
２学期は、運動会をはじめ、学園祭、校外学習そしてクリスマスミサと様々な行事があります。保護者様のお力を頂きながら、一つ一つを乗り越えていきたいと思いますので、ご協力の程、よろしくお願い致します。
On September 2nd, Father Tagawa officially opened the second semester at Gyosei International Primary School. In his speech he greeted the students after a long and fruitful summer vacation. He encouraged the students to focus on studying hard throughout the upcoming semester, whilst also preparing for the upcoming sports festival and school bazaar.
Several students were also recognized for their achievements in the Eiken English Test and in the 62nd Chiba Prefectural Calligraphy Competition. These included Suisei Nakagawa of 3B class, who was able to pass the Pre-1 Grade of the Eiken exam. Four students from grades 2 to 6 were also awarded top prizes in the calligraphy competition.
Finally to the parents, we ask for your continued help and support over the coming semester, particularly with so many important events in the calendar including the school bazaar, sports festival and the Christmas mass.
