As the cherry blossoms bloomed beautifully all around the school campus, we held our opening ceremony to welcome the newest batch of first graders from Plus Haut and International course, along with several transfer students for other grade levels last Wednesday, April 8th.
This ceremony was conducted in a celebratory atmosphere, which was attended by first-grade students’ parents, teachers, school staff, and distinguished guests. The program began by the singing of the Japanese and French National Anthems, symbolizing the school community’s rich international character, followed by the introduction of all first grade and transfer students.
Next, the school principal and deputy principal, along with valued guest speakers, delivered congratulatory messages that all aimed to encourage students to not be afraid to start this new beginning in their school lives. They emphasized that teachers, parents, and the school community are always there to support and guide them along the way.
Although the students may feel both excitement and nervousness in this new chapter, their bright expressions reflected a sense of hope and readiness for the journey ahead.
We look forward to supporting each student’s growth and making this school year a meaningful and enriching experience for all.
