Gyosei International Primary School’s First Open School and Parents’ Day

On Wednesday, April 29th, the school welcomed parents for our First Open School and Parents’ Day. Parents attended a homeroom meeting and observed their child’s class, giving them a glimpse into the learning environment. For the International Course, the homeroom meeting was held during the third period and class observation during the fourth period, while the schedule was reversed for the Plus Haut and Regular Courses.

During the homeroom sessions, teachers shared the subject syllabus, plans and goals for the school year while also getting to know the parents of their students. While parents were engaged in meetings, students participated in various activities with subject teachers in different areas of the school, such as the science room, cooking room, and art room.

After the fourth period, students had lunch before dismissal.

This event provided a valuable opportunity for parents, students, and teachers to begin building a strong partnership for the year ahead. It also allowed parents to feel more at ease by experiencing a typical class setting and gaining a clearer understanding of how classes are conducted and managed.

For prospective families, our next Open School will be held on May 15th, Friday. We warmly invite you to express your interest by completing the application form linked in this article.
