9月20日・21日に、暁星国際学園の学園祭がありました。小学校は夏休みの作品を展示しました。
20日には縦割り班を組み、中高の校舎へ行き出店を楽しみました。一人300円のお小遣いをどのように使おうか悩みながら、駄菓子を買ったり、バザーで買い物をしたり、楽しいひとときを過ごすことができた様子です。後日児童が書いた低学年の作文には、「お兄さんが手をつないでくれて安心しました。」「お姉さんがお菓子を分けてくれてうれしかったです。」といった温かい思い出が書かれており、学年を越えて絆を深めることができたようです。
It was an amazing year again for our school fair trial lessons that was held last September 20th and before it, we received inquiries and reservations in a couple of days and reached the expected number of children to participate and needed to accommodate every child so we added extra chairs for them since it exceeds the number of students we have in our classes. The lessons were held for the first time in our classrooms in primary school. It is a way for prospective students and parents to experience the actual atmosphere/environment of our school. The trial lessons focused on listening, reading and speaking. The teacher asked questions about the different information of the lessons. The children were able participate with precise expectations and confidence. The main purpose is to offer and encourage every child to study hard and develop their creativity to adopt in our school system upon enrollment in grade one.
小学校の校舎で行なわれた、英語とフランス語の体験授業には、約60名の幼児の皆さんに参加して頂き大変盛り上がりました。実際に小学校の児童が学習している教室でそれぞれ30分ずつの授業を受けてもらい、どの子も積極的に声を出し、手を挙げる姿が非常に印象的でした。来年から暁星国際小学校で一緒に学ぶことができるのを楽しみにしています！
