On January 10th 2015, we held the annual Gyosei International Spelling Bee for grades 3 to 6. A total of 21 students from both the regular and international courses participated and it was both a fun and exciting day. With great tension, the participants were eliminated one by one, leaving Rey A.(5B) and Shogo M.(4B) as the final two competitors. After Rey correctly spelled catalyst, the competition was over and he was proclaimed champion. Rey will represent our school at the national finals in Tokyo on March 14 2015 and we wish him the best of luck!

出題者が発音する英単語のスペルを回答者の小中学生が口頭で答えていく競技です。一人1ワードずつ出題され、間違えたらその場で失格、どんどん解答者は減らされていきます。そして出題される単語を最後まで間違いなく答え続けた者が優勝になります。
