First-term Evacuation and Emergency Drill

On Monday, April 13, 2026, Gyosei International Primary School conducted its first evacuation drill of the school year.

The emergency scenario for the drill involved a fire breaking out in the Cooking Room. In response, all students were instructed to remain calm and follow an alternate evacuation route around the school campus, leading to the designated assembly area at the Upper Grounds/Bus Rotary.

Within five minutes, all students, teachers, and staff had safely gathered at the designated site. Homeroom teachers carefully checked the condition of their students, conducted headcounts, and promptly reported their class status to the Deputy School Principal. The smooth and orderly evacuation demonstrated the students’ ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately during emergency situations.

Following the drill, the School Principal and the Head of Discipline Guidance addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of evacuation drills in ensuring everyone’s safety. They reminded students to remain calm, listen carefully to instructions, and act quickly and responsibly in the event of a real emergency.

Although this was only a practice, it served as an important opportunity for students to develop awareness and preparedness for unexpected situations. Through continued drills and guidance, the school aims to foster a strong sense of responsibility and safety among all members of the school community.
