Our annual May Devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary was held on the fine morning of Thursday, May 14.
In this celebration, we honored the Virgin Mary by crowning her with flowers. The ceremony started off with offering of bouquets and prayer cards. Hymns to the Virgin Mary were sung with hand bells accompaniment performed by the Music Club and prayers were read by the representatives from each class. Father Tagawa, our principal, delivered his message and blessed the statue of the Virgin Mary with the assistance of Mr. Takeuchi, our religion teacher. The children were happy to be part of the celebration.
